The popular Brinsea Maxi II EX has been redesigned to hold more eggs and be even more flexible. The single ring egg disk has been replaced by an innovative mix-and-match quadrant system available in 4 variants allowing users to incubate more eggs of the same size or eggs of different sizes at the same time. Perfect for incubating rare breeds and highly valuable eggs this 24-egg incubator provides the convenience of programmable automatic turning with the reassurance of digital alarms and integral automatic control of humidity. The new Maxi 24 EX is menu driven and extremely easy to use. In normal operation the display shows incubation temperature, humidity and turning status. Opening the menu allows the user to adjust incubation temperature, the unit °C or °F, incubation humidity %RH, turning interval down to a minimum of 5 minutes ideal for parrots, turning angle, cooling duration and high and low temperature alarm limits. Humidity is accurately controlled: just program the desired humidity level, keep the external humidity pump reservoir (not provided) topped up and the incubator does the rest. Eggs are turned by rotating egg quadrants. Four sets are supplied, one for 24 medium chicken eggs, one for 12 large chicken, duck or turkey eggs, one for 40 small quail eggs and one for 8 extra large eggs like goose. The clear walls of the egg chamber mean fantastic visibility of the hatching eggs without lifting the lid and the fan assisted design coupled with detailed airflow analysis results in exceptionally even heating of the eggs to ensure consistent and reliable hatches. Like all Brinsea products the Maxi 24 EX egg incubator comes with a 3-year warranty subject to registration.
